About The Colored Canary Aviary!

We are located in Bailey Colorado about 45 miles west of Denver Colorado, in the United States of America. I was introduced into canaries when I visited a friend who had turned their front porch into a bird room and had a beautiful flock of bright yellow canaries. Ever since I saw this bunch of birds I was excited about buying and raising some of these birds. I started out with just a couple breeding cages and soon found that I had more birds that I knew what to do with. I decided then to build a walk in aviary to hold all my young birds and to build shelving units for my cages. This 'professional' organization of the bird room makes the hobby that much more efficient.

We still have a passion for our birds and are continually trying to improve the flock by selectively breeding for the brighest color. We also strive to maintain our birds in the healthiest condition possible. We love to breed canaries and share the hobby with our fellow bird people.
